Optimistic to the Point of Foolishness

OMG  SOOKIE JUST GET OVER BILL, DAMNIT! That last scene really pissed me off. I get it, they’re all adrenaline pumpy and stuff but…ugh…just stop it.

Also, I was excruciatingly scared for Jessica. I cannot believe how that have turned her character around for me. I HATED her in Season 1 and early 2, but I adore her now. She is just such a sweetheart and an interesting character. I do enjoy the fact Bill is finally being a proper maker with her. About. Damn. Time. I thoroughly enjoyed their wolf fight and seeing her get a chance to kick some ass.

And poor Talbot! I liked him. I wish he didn’t have to be the sacrifice but at the same time I am thrilled that Eric got his revenge. I hope Alan Ball can get off his Bill-Loving-High-Horse and not get Eric killed for this. If that happens (which I doubt) I’m done with the show. I will be so over Ball’s insane love affair with Bill that his causing him to rewrite the plots of the books to points that are getting absurd. I don’t know…maybe I wouldn’t feel that way if I hadn’t read the books and could separate TV True Blood from book. It just feels like his choices don’t make sense and weakens the characters.

Finally, I am agonizing over whether Franklin is dead or not. My personal theory: He can’t be. He didn’t squirt all over the place and pop. He just kind…crunched a little. If Lorena can fix her neck, and the fact Sookie made a point of saying that “This [referring to the bloody goop everywhere] is what a dead vampire looks like” in reference to final death Lorena…well, Franklin has to still be around, right? I also heard a good point tonight, if Tara is having sexual dreams about him that could point to his being alive right? I assume that blood drinking attraction dies with the vamp?

I know, I know. This is all pointless and who cares this much about a TV show? But I am BORED. I am stuck in this apartment with only a few meager personal items and a crummy TV in the living room and a computer in my “office.” I will be so thrilled when my stuff gets here.

Oh and I could start doing my law school orientation homework but I ran out of printer paper and can’t print off any more of the assignment till tomorrow.
