My dad is on a business trip in Chicago and last night ate at the same restaurant Obama and his wife were eating at. He said they got searched on the way in and there were easily twenty secret service officers around. I wish he could’ve taken a picture but with secret service around it’s probably not best to go reaching into pockets lol. I can’t tell whether I think its cool...

Twilight
Say what you want about how bad Twilight is, it still beat Quantum of Solace in sales and was the 3rd highest grossing movie of 2008 so far. Vampires > James Bond. So, how sad is that? The supposedly crappiest movie of the year beat out one of the most anticipated sequels of the year, $72m to $70.4m respectively.
To those that laugh at the movies failure having not even read the books?...

Twilight
I’m so sad that I’m hearing all these bad reviews about Twilight, I really wanted it to do well! I won’t be able to judge for myself till Monday night, when I’m dragging the poor boyfriend to see it since he refuses to read the books, he wants to read Harry Potter first the slacker. Hopefully its at least entertaining enough to sit through? Oh wait. Pattinson is in it!...

85% too, though I will admit a few were educated guesses from what I knew of movies I hadn’t seen. I should give them a shot, but the thought of watching Alien worries me. That’s the ONLY movie that ever scared my dad...

I’ve tried watching for it but all I ever see is a card board cutout of Ted Danson wearing a top hat.
Talked to my parents about moving out. We still have details to workout, of course, but it looks like I’ll be moving in with Ben. :D I need to stop smiling. It starting to hurt. hehe
